First free endpaper missing at front, 2nd has #87 in pencil. No other marks. Foxing, toning seen to some sections more than others. An old sticker for Bacot's Best Liver Pills (the form is an owl) was long ago pasted to the front by some wag of a schoolboy no doubt. Itadds a kind of charm to the book. Spine has mild rubbing, closed tear at head and heel is worn even with page edges; gilt-stamped title on spine is still bright. Boards are soiled and heavily rubbed along edges; page edges darkened and there is foxing and soiled spots throughout. Printed endpapers are still intact.
