One copy noted on OCLC (University of Alaska--UAA/APU Consortium Library). Margeson's narrative of experiences hunting for gold in 1898 in the Copper River, Klutina River, and Valdez Glacier region. Having organized a company of about thirty-five men, mostly from Connecticut. He gives account of their preparation and multi-stage journey to their destination and records their travels over the glacier, building boats, snowstorms, encounters with Indians, rushing for claims, hunting bears, fishing and gathering, river travel, tragic ends, preparing winter shelters and storage, and more.
