Simonon y fait précéder ses quinze compositions poétiques d'une dissertation grammaticale dans laquelle il expose notamment son système personnel d'orthographe phonétique du parler liégeois ; le volume se termine par un glossaire. Le recueil contient notamment Li Côparèye, l'un des textes fondateurs et les plus célèbres de la poésie wallonne liégeoise. Reliure ancienne en demi-basane brune, dos lisse avec titre et filets dorés, plats marbrés. Reliure fortement frottée, avec usures et petits manques de cuir au dos et aux mors ; plats et coins usés. Intérieur présentant une patine normale du papier et quelques marques éparses, mais globalement bien conservé. Texte principalement en wallon liégeois, avec dissertation grammaticale et glossaire en français.
