Mela byt prokazana slabost kacirskych uceni, aby zbloudili verici byli privedeni zpet na cestu pravou.A tak tvorily katedraly v prubehu staleti ostrovy v mori nabozenskych nepokoju a pochybnosti. Jeste stale nabizeji lidstvu nadherny, utesny obraz a pripominaji nam ducha a dustojnost minulych dob.
