Gould]; "Comment on Illustrating" by Wm. Allen White [William Allen White] and F.R. Gruger [Frederic Rodrigo Gruger]; "Examples of Illustration" by Edwin A. Abbey, Walter Appleton Clark, F.R. Gruger, Harry Townsend, and others; "How to Compose an Illustration" by Frederic D. Calhoun; "Figure Studies for Illustration" by Frederic D. Calhoun; "Story Illustration in Pencil and Crayon" by D.J. Lavin; "Cartoon Idea and Development" by Ray Evans, etc. Also laid-in are "Chart Folio for Division Eight" and "Chart Folio for Division One" and "Chart Folio for Division Twelve" by Charles Dana Gibson.
