Circa 1930s-1940s (may be earlier; there are printed dates in the 1880s and written dates on the documents of the 1920s, but these documents may be transcribed typescripts taken from originals). 8 1/2" x 11." Thirteen pages. Papers are very clean and intact except for slight edge wear and wrinkling. Map has some discoloration. Very Good copies. What follows are brief descriptions of the collection's contents and respective titles, authors, page count, and dates, if available. "Recall Old Days in the Palouse: Mr. and Mrs. Henry C. Harlow of Farmington Arrived in 1873," circa 1926, one page, a brief biography of Harlow and his family and their immigration to Washington. "Why 'Cashup' Davis Wanted Grave on Steptoe Butte" by Mrs. Ivan Chase, circa 1922-1926, two pages (additional clipping stapled to last page), about the famous pioneer, James S. "Cashup" Davis, whose reputation for paying and demanding payment "cash up" (hard money in cash) earned him his nickname. Untitled, circa 1882, one page, clipping about buildings destroyed by a fire in Colfax. "Son and Daughter of 'Cashup' Davis - Ferdinand A. Davis and Mrs. Frances L.
