A lengthy review of sorts of the rare title noted as "in press" by the Editor. Illustrations include a scene on North Thompson River, Rocky Mountains, the night camp, the winter hut, Fort Edmonton, a swamp formed by beavers, the forest on fire, Mr. O'Brien and party crossing the river, the Assinboine rescues Bucephalus, the misadventures of the raft, the end of the trail, a scene of crossing the Athaasca River in the Rocky Mountains, going uphill, the upper lake on the Athabasca, the headless Indian, and the party across the mountains including Milton and Cheadle. Housed in protective mylar report cover.
