He was an Honorary Professor of the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine and Honorary Advisor 001 of the Chinese CDC ; presented by Chen Chun-ming, possibly 陳春明 (1941-2024), a traditional bamboo carving technique master from Taichung, Taiwan ; Fang's ink-wash bamboo paintings are grounded primarily in the style of Wen Tong, while adopting the structural approach of Xia Zhongzhao. What makes his work truly remarkable is his ability to infuse his paintings with his own spiritual essence and character, thereby forging a unique style that epitomizes the literati painting tradition.
