The short stories with Air Force content are based on the author's personal experiences during a career spanning thirty-five years. These stories highlight some of the traits of an officer of the Indian Armed Forces viz honesty, integrity, determination and loyalty. The title story tells the reader how the author was transformed from a land-lubber into a fighter pilot. Fictional stories included in the book are based on humour, intrigue and the supernatural, making the book a very interesting read. The author has included a few poems that, as he puts it, are a result of an imaginative mind working overtime.
