Boards a little rubbed and rounded…at spine tips and extreme corners, remarkably bright and fresh. Front free endpaper absent, and old water damage affecting the base of the half-title page and frontispiece, (not affecting text or image), frontispiece rubbed along fore-edge, else internally neat, clean, and tight with just a hint of spotting on a few early and late pages. In its original dust jacket, with tipped on illustration matching that on the book (jacket is rubbed and lightly chipped at edges and folds, with minor loss at spine ends, short flat tear running from spine head along fold). Dust jacket now protected in a Brodart-style sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
