He stood first in the university's merit list in both courses and received the Lokmat Gold Medal along with seven other awards. Since October 2008, he has been working as Head of Department of Mass Communicationat Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Solapur University, Solapur. Dr. Chincholkar presented 23 research papers in na tional and international conferences.
