Spine label worn, endleaves tanned and rippled (a production flaw), modest…wear, very good and sound with an errata sheet laid in. Inscribed by the author on the front fly: "To --- A book to remember me - you will never get another like this - With love Phyllis Christol." Also prints several pages of housekeeping tips. Published in an edition of 1,000 copies with proceeds going to Portuguese charities. Reprinted several times, *OCLC* locates only eight copies of this first edition.
