This is a highly unusual item: there are two copies of this book in a custom-made, clamshell box; one copy is inscribed to former Book Baron of Fullerton, California owner Bob Weinstein and the other copy is inscribed to his wife Lois.… Each copy has an original, full-color illustration by Phil Parks and each is personally inscribed by Parks as well as the author, Dean Koontz. Loosely inserted is a typed noted, signed by Parks stating that this is one set of only six sets of the book "Oddkins" which contain original, hand-drawn illustrations, each full-page and very elaborate.
