Soft cover. Condizione: Very Good. 1st Edition. Offered is an original flyer headlined "NIXON IS BAD FOR AMERICA! [Bilingual to verso] NIXON PERJUDICA AMERICA" issued in 1973 by the Citizens of Conscience of Washington Heights & Inwood out of New York City. A printed handbill measuring 8-1/2 by 11" with text on both sides. No date, although probable 1973 (a portion of the text reads: ".[Nixon] asked for an increase in the military budget up to 80 billion of which the Pentagon plans to spend 6 billions in 1973 for military expenditures in support of the Thieu police state in South Vietnam" which implies, to me, that the Paris Peace Accords may have already been signed [January 7, 1973]). The text begins: "NIXON IS BAD FOR AMERICA! - and he is bad for you and your pocketbook - and NOT ONLY BECAUSE OF THE WATERGATE AFFAIR!" Also: "WE DEMAND A NEW ELECTION WITH CANDIDATES TRULY REPRESENTATIVE OF THE PEOPLE'S INTERESTS AND NEEDS!" The rear side is printed in Spanish. Light periodic wear.
