Endpapers foxed/t…oned; O'Casey family Mississippi and Ireland genealogical-themed bookplate affixed upon front pastedown; slight toning at margins but interior leaves are otherwise clean. Binding is firm. With introductory essay "The Valor of Homer Lea" by Clare Boothe [Luce], Preface by Homer Lea, Introduction by Major-General J.P. Story, eleven charts, two text sections - "The Decline of Militancy and the Control of the Western Hemisphere" and "The Decline of Militancy and the Control of the Pacific" - with concluding appendix featuring twelve tables. Acquired from the estate of Birmingham, Alabama pathologist, bibliophile, and genealogist Dr. Albert Eugene Casey (1903-1982) who served as director of laboratories at Birmingham Baptist Hospitals from 1942-1972.
