Soft cover. Condizione: Very Good. Vintage popular sheet music for the standard 'Prisoner of Love,' credited to Leo Robin, Clarence Gaskill, and Russ Columbo. Originally published in 1931 by Mayfair Music Corp., this example features the later black-and-magenta photographic cover variant promoting Perry Como's recording. The dramatic Art Deco-influenced design and strong contrast typography make this an attractive display piece for collectors of Tin Pan Alley, crooner-era memorabilia, and early popular vocal standards. Interior includes complete piano-vocal arrangements with ukulele chord diagrams. Condition is Very Good. Covers remain bright and clean with moderate handling wear, light rubbing, and minor edge/corner wear. Interior pages are clean and complete with expected age toning and a few light signs of use. Binding fold remains secure with no detached pages observed. Rear cover retains period publisher advertisements for Morris-Mayfair folios and Bing Crosby song collections. A solid collectible example with strong visual appeal. First issued in 1931, 'Prisoner of Love' became closely associated with Russ Columbo before later revivals by Perry Como, Billy Eckstine, and others helped establish it as a classic American popular standard. This copy reflects the continuing commercial life of the song during the golden age of American vocal pop publishing. Housed and ships in a protective, archival sleeve. Leo Robin (1900-1984) was an Academy Award-winning lyricist best known for standards including 'Thanks for the Memory.' Russ Columbo (1908-1934), often called the 'Radio Romeo,' was an influential early crooner whose career was cut short by his untimely death. Clarence Gaskill collaborated on several popular songs during the interwar Tin Pan Alley era.
Soft cover. Condizione: Good. It has been paginated in pencil at the bottom of each page. Handling, pencil scribble, colored in pictures, creases, name on front cover. Perimeter wear, staples show rust. See pictures for further details, description.

Softcover. Condizione: Very Good. First edition. Orchestration by Lee Terry. Small quarto. Single bifolium with a single sheet insert printed on the recto only and folded three times to make three pages. Light edgewear, rubbing to the exterior, still a very good and complete copy. For voice and piano. The verso of the bifolium features an ad for *Ten Lessons for the Piano* by Zez Confrey, and the back cover features ads for "The Kiss I can't Forget" by Philip Spitalny, and "The Lonsesomest Girl in Town" by Al Dubin, Jimmy McHugh, and Irving Mills, along with images of their covers. The front cover states, "Featured with great success by ('Ukulele Ike') Cliff Edwards" and features a photograph of Edwards in blackface. At one point, a company called, Progressive Musical Instruments sold a signature Cliff Edwards ukulele that had a cartoon of him on the headstock that looked very much like the image of him presented here, in blackface with an oversized cap. Although he later moved away from this part of his act, recording many hit songs like "Singin' in the Rain" and becoming the voice of Jiminy Cricket in the 1940 Walt Disney animated film, *Pinocchio*, soon after he would accept the role of Jim Crow in *Dumbo*, a casting choice explicitly influenced by his earlier act according to the website *Cartoon Research*. "Nobody's Business" appears to have been one of Edwards' less popular performances, but nevertheless this piece remains an artifact from the man's complicated and storied career.
