Light rubbing to the spine. The front covers are present but the back covers have been removed, The top margin has been trimmed slightly, at times affecting the text at the top of the front cover. The library markings are fairly unobtrusive. They include "Mercer University Library - Macon, GA" stamps on the front covers and a Mercer University Library plate on the front paste down. Occasional neat tape repairs to a few pages. Occasional soil spots in the margins. However the interior is very clean and crisp overall. The binding is solid and tight. A very good copy with stories and serial installments by prominent authors, most notably Dashiell Hammett and P G Wodehouse, and a nice selection of Depression Era articles. A heavy, oversize book that will require additional postage. John E Sheridan, Hatden Hayden, Diana Thorne, Penrhyn Stanlaws (covers), Charles S Chapman, William Auerbach-Levy, Joseph Clement, George Howe, Clayton Knight, C W Massaguer, Floyd M Davis, Ralph Pullen Coleman, Paul Meylan, Pruett Carter and others (illustratore).
