The Boy' Friend Library was published by the Amalgamated Press between 1906 until wartime paper shortages stopped printing in June 1940. The story papers were initially conceived as a vehicle for S. Clarke Hook's e popular Jack, Sam & Pete and eventually included adventures, school stories, historical fiction, crime, and science fiction by authors such as Jules Verne and Charles Hamilton. In the publisher's original paper binding. Externally, a little worn. The front cover is disbound, but present. The wrap is torn from the head of the spine to halfway down the rear joint.
