No markings, just a tiny bit of fading to the bottom 1/8" of cloth at the base of the spine, thus Near Fine in unclipped Very Good + dust jacket with a couple of tiny tears and chip to the head of the spine panel. DJ is in mylar sleeve. Red cloth, 208pp, colour photos throughout. The photographers dragged an 8-foot long red velvet couch across America and took portraits of people using the couch as a constant prop. the idea was to make a book of portraits that would capture the diversity of American society at the time. There are pictures of movie stars, mill workers, musicians, border agents, Marijuana growers, gay lovers-- a real criss section. (3.3 JM 0123 Size: 4to - over 9¾ - 12" Tall.
