Farblithographie a. festem Papier (ivoire; 11.9 x 8.4 cm, Platte 10.5 x 7 cm), im Druck signiert u. datiert. Blatt verso im Kopf schwach stockfleckig u. mit violettem Namenstempel. Wenig Alters-, kaum Gebrauchsspuren. Gesamthaft recht gutes Exemplar. - - Stempel (wohl aus Alphabet Stempel-Set): 'G. Adolf Closs, Berlin-Friedenau' - "Das Wappen zeigt in Rot ein goldenes Andreaskreuz, nach der Figur mit zwei schwarzen, schräggekreuzten Feuerhaken belegt. Auf dem Helm ein goldener, blau gezungter und bewehrter Löwe wachsend zwischen einem roten Flug, einen schwarzen Feuerhaken schräg vor sich haltend. Die Helmdecken waren 1905 bereits auf beiden Seiten golden-rot (Siebmacher, Band Bg5, S. 23, T. 27 sowie Bg7, S. 22), in der hier vorliegenden Darstellung liegt Metall aussen, weil die Decken sich hier fliessend aus dem Löwenkörper ergeben und die Flügel nur wie durch die Decken gesteckte Federbüschel wirken. Das Wappen ist linksgewendet dargestellt. Für den Künstler typisch ist die stark auf schwungvolle, wesentliche Züge reduzierte Darstellung, der bei aller Virtuosität immer etwas Plakatives, geradezu Naives anhaftet. Der Mangel an Feinstruktur, die nachlässige Kontur und ferner die Perspektivenmischung bei der Helmdarstellung tragen erheblich zu diesem Eindruck bei. Ein weiteres typisches Element in der Kunst von Closs sind die kreisbogenförmig angebrachten Schriftbänder mit einer Mischung schwarzer und roter Buchstaben, letztere immer am Wortanfang" (aus: dr-bernhard-peter de/Heraldik/seiten/exlibris37).
