Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. This large coffee table style book, by Cecil Clutton , G. H. Baillie & C. A. Ilbert has 532 indexed pages, with 184 pages definitively listing alphabetically EVERY former watch and clock maker and their addresses . Loaded with photos, diagrams and drawings. The book is ex-library, BUT NOT all ma…rked up like Most "ex-libs". It is in great shape other than library stampings on the page edges (as seen when the book is closed) and a small stamping on the bottom of the Title page. There are no stampings any place else, and there was no pocket in the book (I assume it was a reference book -- not a circulating one). The jacket was covered by clear plastic, like most library books, and thus the jacket (which has ZERO library markings) is in pristine condition because of being protected, BUT unfortunately the plastic was taped to the jacket flaps and the inside of each board --- SOooo, there is a vertical line running from top to bottom on each inside flap, where that narrow strip of wording was pulled up, internally marring an otherwise perfect jacket. Now, all of that stated, the book still looks great internally and externally except for these few distractions, and the book is an invaluable resource in it's field of endeavor. Finally, this 8th Edition is far more desirable than any of the earlier printings, because it is revised and considerably enlarged.
