The corners are bumped and worn, with light shelfwear around the edges, and a couple of small abrasions to covers. Ex Gloucester Archive, with presentation bookplates from the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury and a pencil catalogue number to front endpapers, and Gloucestershire Archive stamps to ffeps, plus a folding colour frontispiece to both volumes. Internally, we have a little mild foxing, mostly to prelims, as well as to page edges scattered throughout, otherwise the two volumes are very clean and bright throught, in firm bindings. An exceptional set.
