Rock Pipit (Anthus aquaticus) | Case of Puffins and Young.' This section is followed by a curious 'Miscellaneous Collection', including 'Ivy Leaves from Thorwaldsen's Grave, Copenhagen', 'Cegars from Coomassie, Ashantee, 1874' and ' "A Duel," made from the claws, etc., of Crayfish (Astacus fluviatilus) at Strasbourg, 26th July, 1879, and given to exhibitor'. Item 30 is a ' "Knuckle Duster" ' (first recorded use of the term?). Final section includes oil paintings by T. H. Gibb, Percy Forster and F. Melville. The only copy on COPAC at Newcastle. See Image.
