The bindings are intact but do show some wear at the hinges -- front hinge leather of vol 2 is split but cover seems secure. Volume 2 has scorching / blackening to the spine -- likely shelved next to fireplace. Volume 1 has chip out of leather at spine bottom edge. All edges gilt.
