The book is approximately 10 1/4 by 12 1/4 inches and has 167 pages. It is a stated First Edition without additional printings noted. The boards are covered in a royal purple cloth, the end papers are also purple, and have gilt image of a bird on the front cover and gilt lettering on the spine. The dust wrapper a photographic image of a bird on the front and a flower on the back. The spine cover is like a gold foil with black lettering. The interior, as the title and wrapper indicate, has photographic images of small dead things, flowers, birds, and insects. The spine ends remain stiff, the corners sharp and the leaf edges white. The top of the front panel and head of the spine of the dust jacket show some curling bruising, however the dust jacket is currently protected by a clear removable cover. Signed by Author(s).
