Top edge gilt and blind embossed 'presentation copy' stamp to title page. Overall a Good + copy. Pages vii + 416 and publisher's 15 page catalogue.This is an historical novel by Hon. Gilbert James Duke Coleridge (1859-1953) and his wife, he was a sculptor and writer, the son of John Duke Coleridge, Lord Chief Justice of England, First Baron Coleridge. Some rubbing to the head and tail of the spine and lightly to the rear board. Two corners are lightly bumped and there is a light bump to the head of the spine. Light foxing to the end papers and paste downs. Clean and tight. A very good copy.
