A newly divorced librarian is unwittingly drawn into a crime investigation after accepting a pack of cigarettes with an incriminating roll of film hidden inside. Basis for the short-lived 1981 television series starring Barry Bostwick and Deborah Raffin. Set and shot on location in San Francisco. Beige titled Paramount wrappers, dated September 23, 1977, and noted as FINAL DRAFT on the front wrapper, with a stamp for Miller-Milkis Productions at the top right corner. Title page present, dated September 23, 1977, noted as FINAL DRAFT, with credit for director and screenwriter Colin Higgins. 136 leaves, with last page of text numbered 129.
