Rober Beck's iconic Brandi Chastain World Cup photo - taken 7-10-99 immediately after her successful penalty kick gave the USA its WC Final win over China - is the cover. Pages are not numbered and, given the new condition of this issue, I haven't counted the pages or the scads of SI-quality color photos inside. But they are there. An oddly scarce SI piece. Lg3.
