With this transcription of historical documents, Dumont's oral account, dictated around 1902-1903, is transformed into a written text that re-establishes for history the honour and dignity of an individual and of a people.

Edges show light wear and bumping and there are two small puncture marks found on both sides at the bottom of the spine. Authors signature and inscription with a date can be found on the half title page. Text is in both French and English and is clean and square throughout. Pictures are bright and binding has loosened but remains firm throughout.
