Catalogue lists the various advantage's to the company's stoker unit, then gives details about its components - coal hopper, coal feed, stoker drive, forced-draft fan and others. Diagrams on page 23 show the installation of the stoker unit within a variety of different boilers. Wraps show some rubbing. Light wear to edges and corners. Two streaks on back cover. Top corners of wraps and pages are creased. The Combustion Engineering Corporation, Inc., a manufacturer of boilers and boiler equipment, was based in New York City. $20.

Soft cover. Condizione: Good. A softcover catalog with description of the "Type E Stoker" from the Combustion Engineering Corporation. Bound in tan papers with a black and red design, and in good condition. 73 pages and measuring about 6 x 9.25 inches. With colored plates and diagrams throughout. The wrapper has some edge and shelf wear, with a small closed tear at the foot of the spine. There is a large sticker in the left corner. There is water damage that can be seen on the end free papers and the majority of the text block, about 1.5" in height. The binding is strong with no missing pages. Interestingly, there is a six page, folded pamphlet that is numbered to correspond with the text block, but it does not appear to have ever been bound into place; it was merely tucked into place. There are no other marks throughout the text block. The illustrations and diagrams are primarily black & white with colored areas. This catalog comes from a collection of several thousand trade manuals.

There is folding and bumping to the edges and corners with a large tear and chipping down half of the spine. The interior pages are clean and bright without markings or spots. There are library stamps and sticker to the top of the front cover dated 1920. The catalog covers the simple design, quick installation, ash dumps operated from front of boiler, air cooled grate bars, may be set in battery of two or more boilers, ample front observation doors, side dump trays, active part of the fire continuously self cleaned, and high economy large overload capacity, continuous operation.
