I felt that Mr Wood's remarkable abilities should be commemorated in a book; that he should have a volume entirely devoted to himself and his method. Hitherto his revolutionary practices have been described merely in chapters of books devoted to salmon fishing a whole.'' This was limited to 1000 copies.
