Quarto, 416 pages + 10 color plates, intertextual black and white illustrations throughout, fore-edges gilt, gilt titles leather spine with brown cloth boards. A good copy, internally very good, clean, internal… binding solid, paper lightly yellowed primarily from the margins and lightly foxed, color plates bright with some light foxing, but back strip leather significantly chipped, fore-corner tips worn through to boards, hinges cracked--frontispiece, front flyleaf and endpaper detached.
