Hardcover. Condizione: Fine. Condizione sovraccoperta: Very Good. 1st Edition. The book condition on this first edition, first printing as verified by Ahearn is Fine with just a stain or two on the text block edges and front free endpaper. Slight push to spine ends. Spine tight, boards rigid and tips pointed. Many b&w illustrations. All present. The dust jacket is NOT price clipped with some little wear at tips and worn areas on covers and loss at bottom front cover and spine ends. Now looks shiny and newish in an archival mylar cover. Not Signed.

Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Poor. Hardcover in VG condition: slight handling, slight bump of lower corner tip, pages unmarked, front endpaper has an abraded area (from heavy erasure?) now covered by a plain white sticker. The dust jacket is poor because a 4x3cm piece is missing from the top of the spine, with a small chip and small taped tear along the lower edge, and is protected by a new, clear, removeable cover. 256 pages, slightly age-yellowed, with two tiny spots on the side edges. [1 lb]. Book.
