This married immigrant couple lived in the Pittsburgh area, but their origins were from the Peloponnese of southern Greece. They were self-taught artists who painted in a naive style, including landscapes and villages as they remembered from the old homeland country, and paintings of their new home - Pittsburgh, and many other subjects in between.
