Quotes are by noted authors, among whom are Henry David Thoreau, W. C. Gannett, Rabbi Hillel, George Macdonald, John Ruskin, George Eliot, E. E. Hale, and Ralph Waldo Emerson. Each quote is accompanied by stylized lettering and small floral decorative illustrations or decorative borders.
