When the old Salt Lake Theater Company was billed in a California town, Cosgrave found his chance to travel to Utah. He married a Mormon girl and toured the West for thirty years. While managing a Boise stock company he hired a new green leading man -- James Cruze. They became friends, and years later Jimmie Cruze sent for his old pal, and Luke Cosgrove became known as a character actor. This has two copies of a review from Variety laid in, plus a typed, signed letter from the author's daughter, Frances C Hurlbutt.
