143pp, (5.25 x 7.5 inches), b&w photos and drawings, index. Ex-Library, hardcover, no dust jacket. Tan cloth over boards with brown titles, a little dusty looking, but bright, corners sharp. The only sign of library ownership is the pocket in the back and a tidy stamp above it, from a school district in Oregon. The book is crack…ed and loose behind the frontis photo four girls creating a pyramid (wearing bloomers and sailor tops). This makes the front cover a little loose, otherwise contents are clean, securely bound, no tears or creases, no markings. Part of the "Athletics for Women Series.".

A tight and nice later printing of this 1926 text, a volume in this publisher's "Athletics for Women Series." Interestingly, this copy bears pencilled ownership signature on fr…ont flyleaf of appropriately-named Vivian Springer, a well-known tumbling coach of that era. She pencils large checkmarks alongside many maneuvers, a couple comments on techniques in the margins, and lists a dozen tumbling terms (perhaps the order of events for a tumbling meet?) on rear pastedown. Intriguing copy of an uncommon title.
