In pictorial boards with linen spine (boards are worn and heavily rubbed and a little chipped and indented at edges, rounded and scuffed on corners and spine ends, where the cloth is worn). Hinges cracked, some mild occasional spotting, and the 'belongs to' section has been filled in. A little loose but holding.

Hinge is weakened but binding still holdingDust wrapper is unclipped at 4/- but has two areas of loss on the front and a closed tear at the bottom. The reverse also has a little loss and associated creasing and spine panel is worn. Despite all this now in protective cover, the book presents as attractive and it is extremely uncommon to find these books with dust wrappers.
