Son fils, Louis Ambroise (1798-1860) suivit la carrière paternelle, l'aidant à dessiner des planches de cet ouvrage, et en donnant une nouvelle édition de Vitruve ; fissures au dos usé, manques aux coiffes frottées, coins et coupes frottés, traces de frottement et rayures sur les plats, mors fendus, rousseurs, en l'état.
