Large 4to. Twelve pieces by Cramer, Lefebure-Wely, Donizetti, and others. Evidently bound when the music was old, mended (mostly very neatly) in many places. Some staining and foxing throughout. Marbled paper over boards, cloth spine. Cover worn, one hinge tender, o/w good.

First Edition. Good, tight copy in contemporary half black leather over dark teal marble boards, now somewhat worn, with edges and the ends and joints of the spine somewhat rubbed. The spine is gilt-blocked "Music." Internally strong, with faint dust-dulling, foxing and offsetting throughout as expected from age. Some light creasing and small marginal tears, as from page-turning. Remains very well-preserved overall. Physical description; 1 volume, variously paginated : music, portrait ; 35 cm.
