En 1785, il eut une médaille d'or de la part de la Société d'agriculture de Paris, en récompense de ses travaux, et en devint membre en 1787, ce qui fit redoubler son zèle, sa ferme devenant le théâtre des expériences de cette Société. Pour modification de l'acte de naissance d'une enfant née à Vincennes en 1813, après reconnaissance et légitimation, suite au mariage de ses parents à Paris en 1816.
