Otherwise, exceedingly sharp; bright, tight, very minor wear touches (see scans). The Sexual Crisis was the first opus of noted early twentieth century progressive - feminist, opponent of anti-Semitism, writer and journalist - Grete Meisel-Hess. Something of a landmark in social activism and social treatment of sexuality, and the subject of an in-depth, article length review by Floyd Dell in the April, 1917 issue of the legendary activist magazine, The Masses - a rare treatment therein for a book review.
