Each plate followed by short descriptive text in Latin. (iv), 76 pages. Slim 4to, handsomely rebound in recent full green morocco with simple gilt and blind-stamped borders. Amstelaeldami: Apud Franciscum vander Plaats, 1704. Some offsetting and occasional fingermarks and marginal soiling, still a near fine copy. A charming Dutch Emblem book, with plates that had previously appeared in F. Egger's "Elegantissimorum emblematum corpusculum", 1696, and, later, in "Acht en dertig zinnebeelden," 1737.

4to, (iv), 76 pp. Title vignette and 38 plates, some occasional marks and staining, mostly marginal and to early and late leaves only, 19th century Dutch binder's label to the rear paste down. 19th century half tree calf, marbled sides, gilt spine with a red label, recent subtle repair to the spine ends. A lovely example of this Dutch emblem book, using plates that had previously appeared in a Leiden printing, "Elegantissimorum Emblematum" in 1696.
