Parks, and talks given by Crogman over the 13 years preceding publication, all related to "the race of which I am a member" as he noted. Among the subjects are Frederick Douglass, Bishop Atticus Haywood, the 26th and the 32nd anniversaries of the Emancipation Proclamation, and Negro education, needs and claims. xxiii, 330 pp. Ex-library but with relatively few markings and overall tight, clean and sturdy in black cloth with silver lettering on the spine.
