Hardcover. Condizione: Poor. No Jacket. Signed and inscribed by the author. Book has been well-loved by young readers. Binding is broken at front and back hinges although still intact; green cloth-covered boards are rubbed, soiled and worn. A former owner has decorated several pages with an orange crayon and a pencil . Signed by Author(s).

Hardcover. Condizione: Good+. No Jacket. Hays, Ethel (illustratore). Early printing, hardcover in cloth, has bumps with wear and short splits starting to the cloth at the spine ends and cover corners, creasing to the fore corners of the text block, toning with small spots, smudges and areas of foxing across the cloth, areas of subtle soiling and smudging to the edges of the text block and to some pages, and a dog ear crease to one leaf. Overall, this is a solid, Good+ copy.
