Staining to the front cover of Volume 2. The spines of Volumes 2 and 3 are cocked. Otherwise, a clean and unmarked copy of this scarce history of physicians and medicine in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. OCLC (No. 871954438) locates only seven copies at institutions worldwide, including the National Library of Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland, and the Library of Congress in Washington. Not included in this set is the fourth volume, covering 1993-2010. Note that this is a heavy and oversized set, so additional postage will be required for international or priority orders. ~SP05~ A history of medical care and physicians in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, about 130 miles northwest of Philadelphia and 165 miles east-northeast of Pittsburgh, with a county seat of Williamsport. In addition to presenting a history of the county medical society, numerous biographies of prominent county physicians are presented, making this an important reference for the history or genealogy researcher.
