Edgeworn, with corners bumped and frayed. Ribbon ties are torn and largely lacking. Boards are detached. Previous owner's card pasted to front pastedown of each volume. Light age toning to very edges throughout, and narrow dampstaining to edges intermittently throughout both volumes; some damp spots are tinted pink from the red cloth.
