Pictures have been partially colored in, with some scribbling, with regular crayons. Seems to be a tie-in to a children's TV show; Capt. Jim looks like Jack McCarthy. Television, nostalgia, baby boom.

Most of the animal illustrations have been colored and erased but there is still a very light tint of color visible after cleaning. No crayons present, pages have been used in the past but are clean now. Red plastic comb spiral binding has top piece cracked. All pages holding fine. Top edge of rear board has a closed crack as if someone stepped on the board. Still displays well and is a very rare cross-collectible, Pinocchio, coloring book.
