Depew. Theodore Roosevelt was an American statesman, author, explorer, soldier, naturalist, and reformer who served as the 26th President of the United States from 1901 to 1909. As a leader of the Republican Party during this time, he became a driving force for the Progressive Era in the United States in the early 20th century. In very good condition with light soiling. Accompanied by an original program from the dinner, which took place at Delmonico's on February 13, 1899, and featured toasts by Roosevelt, Miles, and Schley, with Depew acting as toastmaster. Rare and desirable, especially signed Abraham Lincoln served as the 16th President of the United States from March 1861 until his assassination in April 1865.
