The book's title page is hand inscribed by Tracy, "For Sissy Farenthold with many thanks and all my love. Michael. 28-2-92." Sissy Farenthold ca…n be seen in the group photos on pages 72 and 73 of this book. Farenthold served in the Texas House of Representatives, and later, in the 70's twice ran for state governor. In addition to being an educator, throughout her life she devoted much of her time and energy to causes that reflected her conscience and beliefs, leaving behind a fine legacy of activism and public service. The book is in Good condition only, with edge-wear to the covers, plus a heavy crease to the upper rear corner. Text is in English and Spanish. Signed by Author(s).
